Every season, Pantone (the color company) puts out its new color predictions for the colors that will show up in Fashion Week. They partner with designers to get their input on what they’ll be using, name the colors, and cross their fingers that they show up on the runway. This, to me, is a brilliant tie-in of fashion with what was traditionally a home business – paint swatches.
So last week, Women’s Wear Daily summarized the top 10 Pantone colors that designers used in their women’s and men’s collections for S/S 2012. I’ve given you a few snippets of how the top 5 colors translate into table settings. Let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
