Olivia Palmero wore this cute outfit at a Tony and Guy show recently. For those of you who don’t know, Tony and Guy is a hair care brand. We’re talking a hair show, people. As a person who works in the beauty industry, I can tell you the fact that she has no sequins on in an audience of hairdressers and extensions shows amazing restraint. And it is appreciated. And cute. Love the pops of color and yes, the leather pants. Anyways, I’ve cobbled together some places to get some of these pieces:

1. Cardigans: These don’t need to be too heavy at this point during the year. Although we did already have a snowstorm/sleet thing, randomly in the northeast. These two options are a cool twist on a regular old cardigan. If you prefer a more classic option, there are tons more out there.

(Modcloth; J Crew)

2. Blouses: One thing I love about the JCrew blouse is that it is a limited-edition from design darling (and CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund prize runner-up) Prabal Gurung. It’s a bit over the top, so make sure you practice B-A-L-A-N-C-E. (Read: less is more)

(J Crew, Gap)

3. Leather Pants: Yes, leather pants. It’s past the point where it is too damn hot and you’ll sweat in leather. The weather is perfect for these things. One day I will wear leather pants. Because one day I will have skinny enough thighs where the fact that leather pants draw attention to your legs don’t matter.

(Gap, Gap)

4. Funky Heels: You can still show a little bit of toe at this point in the season. I like these two options because you can still use them in the summer, and they’re not a total one-time use.

(Cole Haan, Anthropologie)
