Hello my lovely DC Readers!

Hey Guy! See you soon!

If you are a food freak like I am, you are going to be soooo excited that Spanish Chefs Jose Andrés and Ferran Adrià will be speaking at George Washington University at the end of September. The tickets are $20 to hear the discussion, and $40 with Adrià’s cookbook. Buy your tickets now!

For those of you who don’t know, Jose Andrés has been a staple in getting Spanish food on the map here in the US. He owns Jaleo, China Poblano, Café Atlantico, Minibar by Jose Andrés, Oyamel, Zaytinya, The Bazaar by Jose Andrés , and has a Spanish travel/cooking show and cookbooks. He is super politically active in obesity and childhood hunger, and seems like an amazing guy. He lives in Bethesda. (Fancy…) Ferran Adrià is of El Bulli fame, which recently closed but was considered to be the best restaurant in the world. He has been regarded as the world’s best chef, and he is famous for his molecular gastronomy dishes. (I was once asked to define molecular gastronomy. In a marketing interview. For a non-food industry. You know who you are, and you’re a jerk.)

Here are a few links that show Christina and I’s Spanish love:

Let us know if you go!
